What is the best way to make money in Sun Haven?
Hey everyone,

I'm already far in the game (almost year 2) but I have no idea what the best way to make money is. Can someone please give me tips? I would like to get the achievements regarding all 3 currencies.

I'm playing farming games for a while but I always struggle with efficient money making, so I would really appreciate any advice <3 Thank you!

I don't know about the most efficient, but there are some things to know:
1 - there is a lategame plant that sell for all three currencies (I'll need to check on wiki for exact name, or you do it if you don't want to wait)
2 - passive income skill that gives you money for pets is unlimited (that makes it the most useful passive income skill)
3 - some marriage candidates are just better, if you only care about the gear that give income (like this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ prince and sad greenboi in elftown)
4 - don't forget to switch to gear that gives you money every time you craft something, since you are gonna craft anyways, it is a nice little extra
5 - as far as I remember, selling crafted/cooked goods is better than just selling raw materials

Lemme do you one better. Do a ton of fishing and get the fishing skill where you earn more money from the fish you sell. Get Claude's keepsake.

well if you go for fishing, in the fishing shop from sun haven they sell a golden fishing rod. Gives for every catch bonus gold. The amount of how many gold it gives is between 1 and around 60 so far I saw now. But I think it's worth it.

Grow carrots. Make carrot juice. Sell carrot juice

I just started with a few lotus seeds, grow them, put them in seedmakers, repeat infinitely

If you level up your mining far enough, there are skills that increase the value of gems, armor, jewelry...a diamond amulet sells for nearly 6k gold, and they are not that hard to get the mats for with enough mining. Or just buy the diamonds with community tokens, and get gold from alchemy (stone -> copper bar -> gold bars). Eventually the highest level gems are super valuable (lvl 40+ in the mines, end of mines).

Otherwise, fishing is very, very, very lucrative once you get lvl 30+, with bubble spell you don't have to manually fish anymore, and the fish just start stacking up. Legendaries go for 800g+ (once high enough fishing can increase their value). High enough fishing you can also increase legendary spawn rates.

Baking is very profitable. Very, very, very profitable. Takes a little bit to get it rolling, but once you have eggs, milks, wheat (for flour), sugar, can make profitable cakes. Carrot cakes and lemon cakes are even better because you don't need sugar.

Jams are also quite lucrative, though I tend to use them for experience, especially golden pom. jam, tons of experience.

If you prefer combat, get the bounty hunter ring & the gold increase skill in combat tree, then go to town on the high level monsters. 1,000s of gold / hour is possible at highest levels, and the drops are not shabby.

The absolutely most lucrative is cooking. Getting golden stuff then cooking it is so, so, so profitable. If you check the cooking pot can see what is the most valuable and then just work on building livestock up to golden level for more possibility of golden products.
