How long range do the craft from storage have?

I'm new to the game and have seen there is craft from storage but want to know the range. I would like to put all my chest in one area thats futher away from my crafting stations. I am only on day 15 now so still learning.

It should be 1 map wide that it pulls from. As long as there isnt a load screen between the crafting station. and the chest it should work. You cant store chests in a barn and craft in your farm for example, but you can just shove them off in the corner somewhere if you wanted

There is no range, as long as you're in the same area as your chest you can craft from storage.

I take advantage of the new sheds to have dedicated, thematically appropriate themes of construction, like all my metal works and industrial works like furniture making are in a shed and I have a "bakery" separate from the one in my house where there's several ovens going at once.

I live with Kitty, I do NOT want to have to teach those cats that the 6 oven furnace I've got going on is a fine place to take a nap, I've got work to do.

I'm to early in the game to have everything built like that just built my first shed and almost at the end of the first month but ya I want to organice it better later :D
