Are the permanent stat-boosting Profession items from CC unique in that you cant get them in-game and are locked out of these permanent bonuses if you dont pick profession "X"?
Meaning:
- Explorer: 100% + regular permanent Movement Speed + 5x "Bonus Movement Speed"
- non-Explorer: 100% + regular permanent Movement Speed
(= permanently less Movement Speed than Explorer)
- Spellcaster: 100% + regular permanent Mana / Spell Damage + 8x "Bonus Mana" + 3x "Bonus Spell Damage"
- non-Spellcaster: 100% + regular permanent Mana / Spell Damage
(= permanently less Mana / Spell Damage than Spellcaster)
- Duelist: 100% + regular permanent Health / Attack Damage + 8x "Bonus Health" + 3x "Bonus Attack Damage"
- non-Duelist: 100% + regular permanent Health / Attack Damage
(= permanently less Health / Attack Damage than Duelist)
OR ...
You can get an unlimited number of these aforementioned items in-game until you eventually hit a stat cap and the Profession you pick at CC only allows you to hit that cap earlier.
.
Its either the former or the latter and I want to know before I start the game and permanently screw over my character for good. Id like to pick a Profession that suits my playstyle, but if these "Bonus Movement Speed" and stuff make my character permanently faster than if I didnt pick these Professions than its only logical to pick those Professions instead.
I chose basing my choice off the assumption that it would be a permanent boost, so any class that did not give such a boost, such as only giving seeds, money, or a crafting station, I saw as a temporary boost.
So for that reason I picked Explorer.
