Character Deleted
Hello I need help! My character was there yesterday but after the update today its gone.. any way to get it back? Thanks

C:\Users\(System User Name)\AppData\LocalLow\Pixel Sprout Studios\Sun Haven\Saves

Change C: into whatever drive you are using and change (System User Name) to your systems profile name.

Your save file is there, but the game is not checking for them for some reason. Might have to wait for another patch for your 1.0 characters to be accessible again, but not sure, but they are there. Will update if I can get them restored.

Edit: After just opening the file location, my saves popped back up? I am confused, but will accept they are back. That or I checked my save files in game, backed out, and checked again and now they appear. I have no idea what happened, but try that I guess?

Same here, new character is gone but pre 1.0 release character is still there. Hopefully they are not permanently gone.

Same issue here. I wasn't very far in but I didn't want to start over, either. :(

Mine was deleted too, and now the game is heavily bugging out, none of the character sprites are where they are supposed to be and it's become super laggy.

According to the Sun Haven discord chat, I think it's an issue with the update :( My character from pre release is the only one showing up

my 2 savefiles are still under the backup, i can restore them. did you look at the backup?

after restoring, all my saves are back

I did, but it even deleted that. :/

Same! It's also gone. Someone on the discord suggested a manual backup

I just updated too and noticed how there's the words "developer console" or something along the lines of that in the bottom right (which wasn't there previously) my characters are still there but the game is acting really strange and character portraits are being covered up by the dialog, came to see if anyone else was having any problems.

this is all very weird. i have no issues... no stutter... odd..
my saves are still there, even with my not updated mods... this is very weird

That is exactly what I am experiencing lol. It's really irritating.

Saw the update and hit download wondering to myself "What did they break this time?". Well... It is honestly sad that both of the updates after full release have broken the game.
