I like grinding in some games, but this is not a game I really want to be stuck fishing just cus I wanna explore.
*broke controllers
*increased grind
*broke some things
*sorry :)))))))
And for topic's sake: Yes such changes should be clearly communicated with patch notes and a proper reason. Despite obviously there are some bugs which were introduced, like with a certain slime king not working correctly.
You do know that, on their very own store page, they refer to it as an RPG multiple times, right? It's not "just" a farming game, its sold as a farming RPG with action elements; enemies, and a final boss on top of the farming elements.
People are absolutely entitled to feeling like these changes are a detriment since they don't make the game any more fun—they're a cheap way to artificially gatekeep content for an extra few hours. I'm not sure why you're taking such an argumentative, aggressive stance with everyone here, tbh.
They didn't mention anything about rushing through the game, either. No one is saying "I want to rush through the game, and this change is preventing me from beating it really quickly".
People are saying "This change is lame, it's a multiplier tacked onto a series of quests that lock me out of progressing and force me to sit around grinding longer than I already had to before the changes". It's an entirely fair criticism to have, and people can both enjoy a game *and* offer those criticisms, believe it or not.
You might not find it grindy. Other people do, it's an entirely subjective thing.
