how to buy a new house
I just placed my house in my friend's world. And I have no house in my world anymore.
What should I do now? Can I purchase a new one?

Yes in the town hall, but it is expensive, if you dont have the money you migth have to start a new save.

I think you can get one from a new character.
Host a game with your character> Have your friend join in with a new character and drop/give his house to you
