Never Got Second Dates

I've been romancing multiple characters. The thing is, I asked Jun and Wornhardt to start dating and was about to ask Nathaniel, when I realized I hadn't been on second dates with Wornhardt or Nathaniel. I was at 10 hearts because it was really easy to get to 10, but no second dates ever came up. I didn't miss them, I just never had the option. Looking online, I also learned I never got a second gift from Wornhardt (a treadmill) that I was apparently supposed to get. (I did get the meals from Nathaniel though.) I haven't gotten anyone's keepsakes either, though I don't know if that's just because I made the wrong choices in dialogue or something. Is this all because I got to 10 hearts too fast? Is this just a bug?

Romancing and getting to know characters is a big part of the fun for me in this game, what little there is to it, and realizing I've now missed out on a bunch of it, it's really a bummer. Feels like I'm being punished for just being friendly and giving gifts and getting relationships up too fast.

I'm considering backing up my save file and resetting all the relationships with a cheat. But I haven't no idea if it will mess up dialogue or even work, and it's frustrating that I would even have to do this. I'm not even sure how to avoid this in future playthroughs. Has this happened to anyone else? Am I incorrect and second date quests will come up after 10 hearts?

I've hit 10 hearts with most of the characters, and some even more. I'm not aware if I've missed certain dates? But if you suspect you're missing out on dates, idk if it'd help but in the Town Center it said you could purchase love letters to give out to these NPCs so you could date them. As I'm sure you're aware, romancing them naturally will also make this love letter icon appear naturally on their relationship tab in the menu.

The purchase-able love letter is probably a brute force fix if the dates doesn't appear for you. That said, once this icon appears on their relationship tab one way or another, I believe you can just click on the heart icon that appears to the left of their dialogue box whenever you talk to them to schedule for a date the day after. I don't know if these will give you the date sessions that has yet to occur/you've missed though.

You dont have to cheat to reset relationships, in the Town Hall Bernard sells a consumable that does that.

Thanks, but getting them to be my boyfriend isn't the problem. The little heart is there for me to click. I even made Wornhardt my boyfriend already despite no second date (though I have a very recent save file I could use from before I asked anyone, if it would fix the problem). But I was under the impression that once you've reached that point, you can no longer get the specific second date quest because it was supposed to have happened already? Maybe I'm wrong and just need to wait a few more in game days or something.

Ah, thanks. If it'll reset the dates too and let me choose specific relationships, that would be a better option than resetting all of them at least.

From what I understand, the Memory Loss Potion is currently bugged and doesn't do anything. If anyone has tested it out and found otherwise, please let me know. It didn't do anything for me.

I have an update! I used a cheat to set my relationship with Nathaniel and Wornhardt back to just below 7 hearts. Went to sleep just in case that was needed to refresh anything. The next day, I talked to Wornhardt and he asked me on the 2nd date I had never gotten. (Even though the love letter is still there next to him in the romance tab, so we're still already dating.) After that date, I talked to Nathaniel, and I have a 2nd scheduled with him too. Now I just have to reset hearts with Claude since I realized I never even got a 1st date with him, despite being at 8 hearts. Not sure how many hearts unlock 1st date, but I'll just keep resetting if I have to, I guess.

I even got Nathaniel's keepsake. None from the others, but again that could be my fault, idk how it works. Also no treadmill from Wornhardt.

Anyway, I'm glad I'm getting to see the date events, but I hate that I have to go through all this extra work to do it. I also feel like I have to be so careful now with relationships, ignore everyone else while I'm trying to get to the next stage with one NPC, do things really slowly so I don't pass benchmarks accidentally, etc. I just want to talk to everyone every day.

What cheat did you use?

I use the cheat enabler from Nexus. There's a link to a list of commands. I used setrelationship, but there might even be some others that would work to just trigger the date events.
