Any possible upcoming additional storage?

in many many games which have these smallish chests in them, and usually no other larger version would always have players trying to find an alternative for inventory/storage management easier and more enjoyable, Terraria has their modded Magic Storage which has a stacking storage feature built into one, Minecraft mods has stuff like Applied Energistics.

What i am wondering about is, would there be any possibility to have a more advanced chest in the future that would cost us hardwood planks instead of the normal wood planks, and i have no problem with them being a bit expensive like 40 hardwood planks or even 50, but it would be really amazing to see a storage like that with like double the space of a normal chest, i believe the normal chest is 30 slots, so would the hardwood version be 60? just a thought and wonder if anyone else agrees to having another chest option for mid to lategame <3 :)

Totally agree... I'm having a problem with too many chests and I would love to have a few big ones

would be just generally cool to see bigger and bigger inventory chests that cost more and more resources, make them cost more, but make it worth it imo <3
especially if possible to not make it where you must scroll up and down through a UI...thats just annoying for all games

That really confused me, posted 8th of may, first comment 4th of may.
Just realised this post was from a year ago. XD
Yeah, I'm a hoarder, so I wind up just filling dozens of chests, or making a shed and giving each chest the name of something and filling that chest with that item.
It was super cool when crafting things took from chests nearby.... but then super lame when it didn't take from chests unless they were in the same room, even if both were on the farm.
Be nice to have bigger chests, or some kind of magical storage system to link chests between different rooms.

i fully agree, btw that taking from chests in the same area was a mod first i believe, and then just added to the game cause pretty much was a requirement/number 1 choice when using mods with Sun haven, i can see how its really amazing how it works, but i also am sad cause its just like making a clunky storage packed in a corner, then go around and place like all the stations you possibly can....makes it difficult to find the higher tier stuff you want to actually grab sometimes
would be amazing to have these high tier chests that hold like x3 as much as a normal chest, and i have no problem with them being expensive either, just a nice QOL update for personal chests having way more storage and possibly end game clutter being a bit fixed

i still wonder if there was ever a mod to upgrade any work station so they craft like 100% faster each upgrade for like 3 upgrades or something.....reason is cause i need to have like 5 or 10 of each workstation to help speed up my crafting time...i know i dont need to do this, but if i didn't turning 900 wood into planks would take AGES xD
