Playing on Mac, can't quit properly

I am playing on a Mac and when I quit the game, the screen goes black but the curser stays the same and it won't actually quit. The music keeps playing and I need to force quit to get the game to stop. Does anyone else have this issue?

I am having the same issue! I have to use steam to stop running the app, and then I lose all my progress :(

I haven't lost any progress thank goodness, I go to sleep then first thing I click Exit Game, the screen goes black, I force quit, click stop on Steam, and it has remembered everything.

me too. I sent an email to support about it. I'm on a macbook air. I linked this thread for them to look at the others having the issue.

I have the same issue! Haven't lost anything by pure luck at this point. It wasn't always like this, in the beginning it was running properly so idk what changed...

Having the same issue! Everything is saved though.
I’m also having trouble with stating the game…..it takes 30+ minutes to load

Also nearly every one playing multiplayer on Mac can't get that to work either
