QoL Improvements
In no particular order:

  • Universal Farm Inventory Upgrades, make it so inventory is shared across farms AND any crafting station can access any storage chest on your farm/s. (Think Simple Storage from MC) Also, storage sharing in Dynus's altar and the Museum would also be really nice just to be able to turn things in without having to trek back and forth repeatedly.
  • Sprinklers, similar in concept to scarecrows

Agree with the shared inventories for crafting. That would be nice.

imo, there's no real need for sprinklers. The rain cloud spell is super fast and neat. There is also a talent for keeping crops watered through the night. Also you can buy multiple pet lantern spirits (one per year) which water for you. The Summer totem only gives an 80% protect against fire and that's on purpose to keep us involved with our farms - adding sprinklers would take that mechanic away. I'm sure that would be ok for some people but others like the "challenge" and uniqueness of the totems / pests / seasonal issues. This game has tried hard to not be too similar to other farming games which is appreciated. just my opinion.

There's a mod for the first one, at least as far as crafting stations being able to access items in storage. Based on the dev's notes for the mod, the game engine only keeps items from the current "scene" (or map) in memory, so the possibility of accessing storage from say inside a house or another farm, would be tricky without the devs reworking some of the game's core plumbing. That said, they have told me in a PM that they were planning to try and create a unified interface for all storage within a map, sort of like My Time at Portia/Sandrock where opening any storage chest will let you access any other storage chest, once they had some free time. That gets you at least a half-step closer.

There's another mod that will automatically keep any tilled soil patch watered. It's maybe a tiny bit "cheaty" but not that much.

A few QoL mods is already out, with config files so you can tune them to not be cheaty. Tho its not entirely stable, some mod i got is breaking a few of the cutscenes first time i view it (weird i know).

What i want is the ability to see if an item has been donated or not.

I really like that last one, yes a flag for already donate for the museum specific stuff would be great too
