Can't date Xyla

Hello,
I've been raising hearts with Xyla through gifts and daily chats and hit the highest possible level at 10 hearts but I never had any dialogue options to ask her out on a date.
Am I missing something? Is this a bug and if so any workarounds or am I locked out for good?

Seems to have worked and was finally able to get a date dialogue, not sure why she needs an item while the people in Sun Haven can be asked directly, it's kinda confusing.
