I honestly didn't mean to I was working and lost track of time. I missed the date will the game replay the cutscene when I go to re-do the quest or am I locked out of it permanently? I don't see it on YT just a bunch of romance guides which I don't need.

As far as I know/discovered in my research on this topic, If you miss it, it's gone- No second chance. If you missed it within the day and haven't slept yet, you can load the backup that was made the night before and redo the day as a whole... If it's been more than a day, you're SOL on that save.

There might be a way around this. In the shop where you can exchange community tokens for items, there's a potion to give people that resets their relationship status entirely. Sure, you'll lose any hearts gained, but also you can start again, presumably also starting potential dating arcs again.
