How do I pick up my fishing nets?

How do I pick up my fishing nets after I put them in the water?

It's honestly kinda funny that pickaxe is the only tool that can pick things up. I locked myself in an animal pen I was building because my pickaxe was being upgraded and I'd forgotten that I had none on me.

Thankfully exiting the game took me back to inside the farm house.

For most part you make them fresh. Once you get access to the elven/demon forge and anvil you can make some upgraded versions. I didn't bother making anything upgraded until I had glorite tools though, so it being the first time I did so quite late in progression was probably what caught me off guard without a pickaxe.

Thanks for the information! The wiki is still unfortunately barren on this game. I've had so many questions that are unanswerable @.@
