How do i use the Auto-Feeder?

I cannot make that thing work, at first i thougth that maybe it was bugged but i read some comments online that it need to be used along with a feeding station, how exactly is it done?

You need only one auto-feeder but as many feeding stations as you have animals. Just place everything inside where the animals can get to it (mine are just fenced in, no barn).

só por o automatic feeder perto a estação de alimentação dos bichinhos. se tu tiver um celeiro lá já tem o espaço pra comida dos bichos, não precisa por a estação dai.

Your auto feeder doesn't need to be where your animals are, nor does the auto collector. Put them wherever is convenient for you. The feeding stations need to be accessible to your animals, though. Put your pet food into the auto feeder. Have 1 feeding station per animal. The auto feeder will keep them filled as long as there is food in there. You can make the food from wheat or buy it. There's also a perk that will give you a delivery of food each week, if you choose it.

The feeding stations, auto feeder, and auto collector are all sold by Emmett in the town hall, as are the barn and the house upgrade permits.

Tip: you can not only just leave animal drops in the auto collector, you can use spare slots as additional storage. I keep things such as silk and fabric in mine, for example.
