Catherine's fertilizer quest?

So this quest became available day 25 in spring.
It takes 5 days to grow the cinnaberries after the fertilizer is applied.
Won't they just die after it turns to summer? :s
If that is the case then I have to wait a year to do the quest I guess?

dont remember the quest,, i mean what buff give the fertilizer? maybe speed up the growing?

you can always try it and buy the seeds again next year

I got that quest on the 27th of spring, lol. I guess it's tied to your skills or your friendship with Catherine, or something like that.

If you have cinnaberries left over from earlier in the season, you can just bring them to her actually. If you have access to some of the better fertilizers you could also try that. But otherwise yeah you'll just have to wait for the next spring.

Yes they will die when summer comes. You can give her any cinnaberries, so if you grew some from the store just turn those into her.

That wont work, when summer comes the quest will disappear from your log. I got this late on one of my characters and it disappeared when summer hit.

Oh ok, thanks. Well I hope it doesn't mess with future quests for her then..
Cause I don't have any cinnaberries, just bought one for the bundle to the museum, oh well.. :)

I just used the cheat mod. Since this game isn't 100% polished I was legit scared that missing that quest would ruin future quests with her.
So if anyone else get this problem, just cheat tbh.

I planted the seeds at day 25 spring, summer came and the plants died. Amazing quest. Guess I have to wait a year to try plant some Cinnaberry

I am currently in Winter, and "Catherine's Fertilizer, Cinnaberry 0/5" is still an active quest for me.

I planted the cinnaberries, watered them daily, and for some reason when I picked them only four of the five showed up and the quest never disappeared. I ended up removing it from my quest bar, but I'm disappointed that I couldn't finish it.

I somehow accepted the request in summer 3 looks like there isn’t a way to complete it. I guess atleast I got some cinnaberry seeds out of it.

Build a spring portal you can grow them in there, failing that just plant some cinnaberry early on in spring you just need the plants to complete the quest doesn't matter if you use the fertaliser or not.
