Painted Egg

Has anyone been able to find the Painted Egg for the Museum's Spring Fish collection? I've found multiple supposed locations listed online, but none have panned out and a number of sources don't even acknowledge that the item exists.

I've gone into the eastern forest, the western forest, and around town to no avail. Do I just have really bad luck or is there a particular body of water that is better than others?

I received 2 when fishing, 1 at the farm pond (can't remember though if it was the small or the bigger pond) and the other on that bridge right before the Nel'Vari forest starts.

I haven't looked at the farm for it yet. I'll try there and also give the forest another try. I appreciate the info.

I was wondering what that egg was for, glad I saved it! I picked mine up through fishing. It was the fishing spot by the taxi.

I fished several out of the lake right below the picnic area in Sun Haven (just east of your farm). It is a blue border, so third rarity of 4 or 5 that I've seen, so it may just be poor luck. All during Spring of course.

I think it might have been very poor luck on my part. I eventually caught one in the eastern forest and not another since.

Of the spring fish I have caught like 12 painted eggs to date and none of the rest except the seahorse I seem to have terrible luck catching the spring fish that are not the egg lol....
