Black Screen

Did a reset player when I click on to play - it is black screen, I can hear the music but I see nothing. I verified the game. Yet still black screen.

Me too. I literally haven't been able to play past creating my very first character - it says "loading world", the text disappears, and... nothing. Just a black screen with music playing. I've tried verifying my game files and my PC should be more than capable of running the game.

Since I verified the game few times, since it wouldn't play through the first cutscene - It's working now, I've been playing this game since last year, but I wanted a new player -

I'm having the same issue. I just purchased the game, created a new character and then immediately get a black screen with music. My specifications for the game far exceed the requirements to run the game, so I should be able to run the game no problem. As far as I know there is no fix at this point and time. I may request a refund.

Sometimes when i go into different parts of the map i get black screen or sometimes when i have a night event AFTER THE CUT-SCENE i get a black screen and have to log out and back in... it's so annoying

Another thing I've notice when find character that I want to play, when finished loading, my player is not in her bed, but in her YARD at 6 am.

After waiting a minute, I hit ESC and the game worked (got the back screen after character creation, and after ESC went to the girl talking to her mom smith)
