Hardwood plank?

I chose a Water Elemental and cannot craft a Hardwood Plank. My skills are around 30-35 in everything but fishing, and I have made it to the Elf town. I can gather hardwood easily.

I cannot for some reason craft a Hardwood Plank. It is not available on any station. I have crafted new work bench and bought one from the shop and the option is not there either.

I would just keep progressing the story, but I have some stupid slime on my farm requesting a recipe which requires hardwood planks.

What do you need to do to unlock the hardwood plank recipe?

As far as i know it's in the crafting station for me and u don't need a special skill, u do need to have hardwood material in ur inventory, u can chop those down with the special skill that swings a magical axe in front of u...

I have mithril and adamantine tools which can also harvest the large rocks and hardwood items. I have about 100 hardwood in my inventory.

Its in the basic crafting table just right under the basic planks from normal planks recipe. If you are getting special hardwood from the elf forest, you need the elf basic crafting table.

I has appeared after researching Jam Maker.

I only want basic Hardwood I researched the Jam maker and the recipe became available. No other changes, quests complete, etc.

The magic spell for both AoE Wood Cutting and AoE Stone Mining both do damage to Hardwood and Hardstone. I wasnt even close to getting adamtite tools and was getting these for a Keg

I noticed I just unlocked the crafting recipe of hard wood planks after I learned the first rank of furniture crafting. its the 5th one second row from the bottom in the farming skill page I've only reached the fall of the first year and I haven't left sun haven for the other city's yet if that matters.

i mean there is clearly an unlock and it might vary by character type.

It is either gated by Farming level 20, a certain player level, or some certain research or points spent in one of the other tech trees, because it is rather obvious when it is there or not there.

There are a number of posts in the past having problems with hardwood plank recipe not showing up on the crafting station also, and there was no definitive answer.

Anyone who suggests Hardwood planks come from Advanced Furniture dont know how to read.. Thats Hardwood BEAMS not Planks.
