Curious, but cautious

Hello, I have a few question regarding Sun haven
How is the skill progression and how limited are we as players? I kind of like the idea that you can't get all skills in 1 playtrough, similar to how Stardew does with specialized options.

How much useless skills are there? I can clearly see that Pen pal isn't usefull, but are there more of those to a point where every game is the same?

How much spells is there really? "unlock a plethora of spells to help you along your journey" Sounds like a lot, but 10 spells is still technically a "Plethora" of spells and if there are like 30 spells, but they are simply a bigger/better versions of the same spalls rom previous tier, its a bit dissapointing.

I cant answer the first one but, there looks to be about as many "useless" skills and helpful ones at least to me, this obviously changes based on what you value to some extent. As for spells i think i saw like something between 10 and 14 i dont remember exactly. None of them just seemed like the same spell but better though.

You may want to look at Serin Fate. Its similar but a "tougher" game that has exclusive perk paths and more spells if i remember correctly. Great game. That being said only a few hours into this and I am enjoying it

Skill progression : Good, you can get all the perks in one playthrough tho, but that's grinding a lot, you unblock the next tier after spending a number of points (1 per level) on the previous one. The perks aren't super big or game breaking.

Useless skills: They removed qualilty fish from the game but left out the skills related to quality fish so...those. And some others like "make your animals happy, but has not gameplay effect".

Spells: 10. Only 1 of them is the "bettter version" of the other, and they all have their own uses, they aren't all for combat.
