Angler's Bet - Cuddlefish

Is anyone else having trouble fulfilling this quest?
I have been fishing at Sunhaven beach for days on end and have not caught a single Cuddlefish... and I need to catch 5. Is Cuddlefish an extremely rare spawn or have I just been incredibly unfortunate?

Yes, annoying quest, it does lives in the Ocean, probably during specific hours, so try going there early in the morning and fish for a whole day + reduce day speed to 40 real minutes from basic 10-20.

I've started using big Fishing Net (like 10 of them) on the beach of my farm. I've got 4 in 2 days. Seems like it could be a reliable way to get Cuddlefish. Though I may have been lucky.. It might help get that quest done. Good luck !

i got several cuddlefish my first few times fishing in the elf village, right in the pond on your 2nd farm.
