Multiplayer Not working

I have tried over and over link up with friends in this game. We have tried using existing characters, making new ones, restarting the game and steam client. None of it works. Is there something I am missing?

This is still an issue for me and friends ugh we got it to work the first time we played together when starting all new characters but once we saved and tried to pick it up another day (irl) one of us was unable to be seen past the farm region and she couldn't even use a tool or pick up a fish out of the net. Utterly Frustrating!!

The "invite Friends" button in the game does not work at all. There is no action after spam clicking it. I've tried to invite friends via steam invite and that does not work either. Has this issue been looked into? If so, what solution is there to fix it? I'm really disappointed, because I love the game's graphics, characters and storyline so far- I really hope that wasn't a game that just came in HOT and then sputtered out dull and dim from lack of contact and or action from support or Devs...

Don't bother trying to use the "invite friends" button in the menu, it doesn't work unfortunately.

Instead while in the game as the host, alt-tab out and open your Steam friends list and select the friend you want to invite - should be an option to "invite to game" in the steam menu.

That has been working for me without issue.

Weird, i play consistently with my friends and havent had this issue, could this be a problem with existing files? some people have to delete every file of sun haven in commons, reinstall and have that fix their issue. Try it maybe?, also dont worry about deleting your character, all of that should be saved in the steam cloud.

I have tried to delete and reinstall entirely wiping the game from my computer. I have also tried to invite via steam and what happens is they get the invite but the game gets stuck on the "loading" screen and they end up waiting for a long time and inevitably closing down the game. Just very frustrating, such an awesome farming/dnd sim and I can't game with the online besties~ Thank you all for your input. I appreciate you guys!
