This notification won't disappear even after using all my skill points, just stays there even after sleeping for the night and starting a new day.

Have you double checked you don't have another point to spend?

Even if it disappears after points are spent, it's still pretty annoying. Unless you're spending all of your skill points on one-point skills, you're going to have unused skill points most of the time.

Ideally, it should just flash for a brief period after loading a save or gaining a level.

I guess I don't have that issue because I don't see why you wouldn't use your skill points when that pops up. Like maybe if it was a full rpg with 99 levels that slowly give you a bunch of skill points at once and it takes several skill points to make a noticable difference, but it's not really that kind of game.

i thought i was having this problem then realized there are separate skill points for each category

Just a heads up for some people that notification well stay on your screen when you fill the skill tree and you are unable to spend points I'm like level 25 in farming and its stuck on the screen until they add more
