Small Fishing Net vs Large Fishing Net

So is the large fishing net worth crafting over the small fishing net? I have both of them on my farm and the small net seems far better. The large net takes much longer to catch a fish, and although it says it catches more fish, it always just catches 1.

So does mine. I think if you level up the fishing skills you gain fast

My fishing level is at 8 right now. I looked through the fishing net skills and really couldn't find one that made the large net better. The very last skill increases speed by 33% but that is for both large and small nets. I think the large net needs either a buff, or maybe there is a bug preventing it from catching multiple fish at once?

Same, still having this issue.. large net takes like 4x as long to catch but only catches 1 fish :(

The small net catches small fish. The big net catches big fish. Like you'll only ever catch Chromafins on a large fishing net.
