Played the hell out of the demo on a demo disc back in the day. Keep the old games coming please! 1990's Action/FPS preferable

When moving the mouse in the main menu, it moves like 1 fps and only responds half the time, I have to make big movements for it to actually move. When asked to input my name, both keyboard and mouse stop working so I can´t even progress into game. Any ideas?...

Is there something I can do about the absolute EAR RAPE from the sound? The sound was perfectly fine before-hand, but then I used the fix to enable the FMV cutscenes, and all of a sudden now the game is trying to make me go deaf.
