Is there a trick to getting it to work? I'm trying to connect to an Elite Drivo. It looks like it connects as a cadence sensor, but no other readings.

First, I need to say that even in the beta stage SOL is a great change of scenery! I tried many online cycling platforms and this one has the true potential to become a strong competitor. I like this concept, its pretty cool. I dont think the game looks great but its a cool start. There was an app to encourage running a while ago, its probably still around. It tracked your speed on your phones gps and made zombie sounds when they were "catching up" to you, to make you run faster. It was a fun little workout app. This could be improved and Im sure it will, it looks cool. Good luck....

The store video does a really poor job of communicating that an actual bike is necessary w/ the appropriate communications hardware - plus it really just seemed random that you have some guy peddling away without showing how it interacts with the game itself. Yes, lower on the page it is made clear what is necessary, but before then people have already decided if the game is for them or not. I only looked further down because I have an indoor mount for my bike and felt the video was too random for it not...
