is it just me or are the new zed designs just kinda boring?

Dont get me wrong i'm really looking foward to killing floor 3 but most of the zeds just kinda look like doom demons.
One of my personal favorite things about killing floor 2 and 1 was on how the zeds still kinda looked like humans, it brought a lot of horror to their designs.
Also the facial animations were super cool like blowing a clot's arm off and seeing its face change from an angry look to pure pain was just so cool and with the new designs it doesnt look like we are going to get a whole lot of them

Exactly. If the game takes place far in the future, why the zeds not using some really high tech stuff (let alone firearms)? In the previous games it was explained because the technology of cloning was not perfected yet and there was a lot of room for improvement in the design of zeds.

Just watched the trailer and frankly I think it is dull and unimaginative.

KF1 was a superb, intense game which required very good team play to win. The enemies looked sinister and had character.

III appears to be about glorified robots for adolescant twitch-shooting rambos who want showboat their sKiLLz.

KF3 will probably turn it into a real prosthetic arm blade, possibly with a functioning manipulator too.

Personally im super concerned about the siren's design, its by far the spookiest looking one and i hope they keep it that way

Replying to myself because while they only showed the lower body of the Gorefast in the newest trailer, the rusty machete looks like it has been replaced with a freshly machined Katana-style sword with a sawtooth on the back-end. If the gorefast blade is to look as clean as it does, one can assume that it's a real prosthetic rather than crude surgery.

What specifically about the newer designs do you not like? We've also only seen roughly 5 ZEDs. With only 3 being showcased in trailers. I did spot a Crawler-like creature during the ending of the Fleshpound trailer, and I'm not sure if the ones with red eyes are Clots or Slashers, my guess is Slasher.

the zeds definitely lost a lot of the original feel they had in the previous 2 games, im still waiting for the siren reveal, but im not super hopeful for it!

The blade looks meh, but at the skin of the gorefast looks creepy and fleshy at least.

Well I did like the designs and the new monsters aswell it's an easter egg from the game man eater and they have done it well, I like what I saw.
