Since the game was having trouble meeting Steam's requirements for partial controller support (it's stricter than you might imagine), I removed the flag for now. Despite the flag being disabled, Instruments of Destruction actually has decent controller support.

A gamepad works pretty well in-game EXCEPT for camera controls. Will add a better system for mapping it to the Right Stick when it's not used (or when you click the Right Stick, or something), and let you remap a lot more stuff--aside from the vehicle controls--eventually.

Please use this thread for gamepad/controller-related issues/suggestions/etc. Another thing that also needs to be fixed: Steering wheels only work in one direction (to the right, I think).

There are camera controls, they are just on the dpad, or use the Right Stick click to enable some of them. Will improve them soon-ish.

But it's clunky and unnatural as is.

Driving shouldn't be on left control-stick It's good for turning but forward etc? Camera should be on right control-stick. It should also auto-follow. As is it's unusable .

A lot of people are going to be playing on a controller, this shouldn't be put on the back-burner imo.

You can remap the default gamepad controls in the options menu, but I can easily make that suggested change too. As for the default camera, the follow camera is pretty meh so I'm not going to make it the default soon. Need more time to work on that, but will make it easier to switch to it.

Either way, I'll make it a higher priority to get the gamepad more usable soon. Not going to worry about remapping everything, just making it easy to pick up and play.

There's one problem i'm having with my PS4 Controller, Whenever i use it, it always switches back to keyboard controls when i press ANYTHING. I don't get it! I hope in a patch update or normal update, you can fix this problem. I even have p1 gamepad on! HUH????

Nevermind, i got it working with a nintendo switch controller.

Im using an MSI FORCE GC30 v2 and not a single input works.
Any ideas? It works on all my other games.
