1) Combat is very enjoyable, its not flashy particle effect laced crap like BDO thats for sure and I for one am very happy about that.... Sadly Combat is a topic you will never ever make everyone happy about because everyone has a different opinion on this topic so imho why even bother....
2) The Main reason I wanted to reply to this thread and thats the Mystery of the disappearing Handcart / Wagon. And I can promise you that their are logical reasons for this not just my cart vanished.
a) Your wagon / Cart was left unattended on property or land that does not belong to you for 24 hours. This means your wagon / cart will de-spawn and leave the game world.
b) You parked your wagon on someone elses property and it was in the way, or you parked it on someone elses player city and it was in the way. Or the players just wanted to be ♥♥♥♥♥ and they deleted your carts from existence because they could. Often times people will part there Wagon in a Player city and not realize that the Governor of said city is attempting to build a building where they parked.... So frustrated and annoyed the Governor uses his power in his city to delete the Wagon that is in the way of progress...
3) This game went from Closed Beta to Open Beta "Early Access" and released an entirely new world in sync with releasing on steam. While I think that was a poor move on their behalf I understand their desire to try to show off a huge new feature in sync with the steam early access release. However Terra has had a lot of issues, but lets be real here what mmorpg ever released flawlessly??? Pretty much every single one I remember was a wreck for a few days till they got things ironed out. This is sadly no exception to that rule. Sadly your friends and yourself and just lacking in patience and understand, you seem to falsely believe that an early access game needs to be in some working condition. You all failed to understand that Steam makes games in Beta and Alpha label their game Early Access, that's steams version of an in development tag.
Few days? It took a few days for them to even begin playing the game they paid for and they even waited those days without crying. Then you come here and accuse us of being "impatient"? Lol, you're a nut case.
It's not failure to understand, it's my subjective opinion on the matter. Just cause I disagree with you, doesn't mean I was impatient or I can't articulate what "Early Access" means.
What you don't seem to be able to grasp (in addition to literally everything else I said) is that this game wasn't ready for Early Access. Just look at the reviews on the page... You really are delusional if you think people are just being 'unfair' with their opinion on the subject. This game wasn't ready. Not even for EA.
Oh, and my wagon? I didn't leave it anywhere. I owned it for 5 minutes before the game bugged it out and destroyed it. It lasted literally just long enough to fill up with loot... And even then I didn't give up, I just remade it. But go ahead, call me impatient again, guy.
This game sucks. Just like your communication skills. Don't make presumptions about people you've never met. Listen to their feedback and consider what they say carefully... They're only leaving criticism because they care. Remember that...
I wanted to give my 2 cents about this and i will be brief.
I followed this game from safe distance for a while, now i'm glad that i didn't buy it to be honest it's somewhat ridiculous, also for a game to get that many negative reviews something has to be wrong.
it's all good to tell people to be patient and that games like this are in early access, also if this game is in a state even more raw than early access it's up to the game developer to tell that to steam (don't blame steam for this) so that a game tag can be created for alpha or even pre-alpha.
The thing that's kind of mind blowing is that seems that we as gamers got used to and to accept games in this kind of state...unfinished.
That person @jfoytek seems to like the use of words like patience and understanding, i can respect that, it seems that there are logical reason for a wagon or handcart to disappear but nobody says what the cause for that is.
I can respect and understand that a early access game needs time but if the devs ask for patience to build up their game, to finish it and to polish it then please don't sell founder packs for 129.99€
So when should a game under development be in beta then??? Because Beta means in development... And Early Access is STEAM's Labeling of Beta....
LOL. You try to high road me and virtue signal the crap out of my thread, then proceed to cherry pick one paragraph out of everything I said. You didn't even apologize for judging a bunch of people you never even met. You'd rather make presumptions about how we played rather than just hear our feedback. You're literally the worst type of person to encounter on the Steam forum: You talk about nothing, but defend subject X by throwing around 'virtuous' adjectives.
The first step of fixing any problem is admitting there is one.
Yup, exactly. If there's THAT MANY negative reviews, the game has critical issues that should have been ironed out long before it was sent to EA. The reason people are upset, is cause Gamigo is notorious for doing really sketchy stuff and probably forced this game into EA to earn some coin. All I did was give it a 3/10 and say it wasn't ready for it.
Yeah... I guess. He also completely misses every point someone tries to make because he's more focused on speaking his mind and making presumptions about people rather than listening to what they have to say...
There's literally no excuse for it either. It's a forum... He has all the time in the world to articulate what I was saying. Coming in here and telling a group of military professionals that, "You all just lack in patience and understanding." is pretty ridiculous, he doesn't even know us. Who does he think he is? Lol.
Whatever! I said what I wanted to say about the game. I hope it keeps getting developed. There's a good game here, it just wasn't ready for Early Access. Oh, and I'm allowed to say that without lacking personal virtues, lmao...
I don't want to hate on the game, but it's really bad. It's hardly a game with zero content or goal. And don't give me that "sandbox" crap, the game is not a sandbox, it's a glorified crafting simulator with no content. Even a simple ancient game like Chess has a goal, a game with no goal is not a game.
What I find to be the hardest thing to believe is that the game is created entirely of Unity Store assets and it has no content and the developers actually think that their product, I won't even call it a game is so good that it deserves to be sold for a price tag of what a AA game should cost. I've seen Hidden Object games that are more fun than this costing this much and being worth it.
I think the MMORPG genre is polluted with people who can use Unity or Unreal and having dreams of creating their game that end up making these.... things and trying to peddle them to people. The analogy is similar to that about "The internet did not make people stupid, people were stupid before the internet, the internet just gave them a place and means to display their stupidity to everyone else." and it's the same with game development being more accessible - people who are not talented or lack creativity get the chance to show how much talent and creativity they lack, and maybe make some money while they're at it.
I might get banned for sharing my opinion, I haven't insulted anyone, especially not the developers or their game, so if I get banned or my opinions get deleted after you've read this, just keep a thing or two in mind about what kind of people are behind this game and is it worth your money or time.
