I bought it and it's 270ms Sydney Australia for me if anyone was wondering. Plays ok... just avoid PvP also could do with some optimising.

As of writing this the game has been back on Steam for 4 months.
After all the controversy with Gamigo, i found they still linked to Gamigo through their FAQ thread, an official post that hasnt been updated.

I'v been trying it this free wknd, my ping was 300-350.
There were no server choices.

Character attributes you pick at the start during character creation are probably one of the worst things they could have done.
They could easily have incorporated the stats into the talent tree and given the player unlimited customisation & replay value without the weird weekly respec feature, its like they wanted to take the D&D aspect in some form to add to the game but then added a POE talent tree that could do it all but didn't flesh it out or straight up ignored its potential because they didnt want to rework their weak character creation.
They had to add the respec attributes mechanic because they designed themself into a corner and took away the biggest replay-ability by adding character stats in the character creation instead of letting the character grow and having stats via the talent tree which would have made the character development seem 200% better.
You will get a weekly reset to change your attributes, but people dont bother and buy another account and make a new character because that comes with a house and no needing juggle logging in-&-out to swap when you can alt-tab or use another device.

Unless they patch the game and change something that forces people to need to use their weekly attribute reset.

I mean what would people have preferred:
1) a character they could build any way they want and use all the skills they unlock and fully utilise the preset system, with nothing holding them back to play all aspects of the game anytime they wanted by using the talent tree while they were actively playing.
or
2) weekly attributes resets that you are locked in for from character creation which hinders players from progress and also locks you from trying something else for 7 days and doesnt even let you try the skills you unlock without waiting a week because you wont have the correct stats for them.
But.... what if the game is secretly trying to get you to buy multiple accounts then this all makes sense that they are tricking people into thinking its a loophole and poor development.
--Can you imagine the person in charge of the development purposely making bad design choices to sell a spare account to bypass their poorly created mechanics??

It also seems weird during the early stages of the game development that they restricted players to testing out all the new skills they unlock in an NPC town they can't use because of citizenship..

All the claimable places were claimed, there isnt that many town claim spots and most have multiple accounts doing this, you can tell by citizenship using usernames instead of character names, people with the same/similar account names is suss.
There seem to be alot of empty houses, and i saw 1 person managing multiple leadership roles with multiple accounts accepting citizens.
Literally 1 person with many accounts owning multiple player towns..

After the tutorial the first town you get dropped in is a Starter town, and a GM was in global chat telling new people its an NPC town and you cannot gain citizenship, and the only way to use the towns crafting benches is to be a citizen, so its basically a fake town to force you to go build your own house to get invested and buy the game.
There is no chance to get involved in starting a town with friends or anything because the multiple accounts veterans already own them.

I ran around for hours checking out all the player built stuff, the only one i found with active people had a mage sitting at the bank bored & using his spells that seemed like hes been playing since it opened on steam, he was just causally sitting around casting all his spells like he had nothing better to do.

Everyone has to collect 10x small rocks and 5x branches to make blueprint campfires to combat the exhaustion mechanic that seems overly aggressive for a game.
In the 7 hours i played i had to use a house fire or campfire every chance i got, because you will easily get exhausted and hinder you within 30-40 mins.. that means every half hour you will need to place a campfire or head back to town to use a campfire.

All the houses look the same.
With Horses being in the game there are no stables or buildings like that, its more like an after thought and immersion breaking how the game straight up ignores the idea of it because it has a Market/Auction house, which makes me believe the devs are bored of making the game and its more a hobby at this point.
I assume that because some of the patch notes are just about flogging off the packs on sale, like the Founders stuff, which games do when they have nothing else to offer.

There are no character builder apps or website, the only things i found was a forum where people brainstormed some builds, and a few videos, where the game or the devs havent create any tools for the players to theory craft, outside of Discord where its mostly threads about "looking for build" , some people post NIKE updated builds in there but the channel they link to is restricted/hidden.
They only show a small amount of stuff you can build in the character creation.
You literally have to use a 3rd party source to check the abilities or have started a character previously to see the real list, its so weird, possibly another reason why they had to add the attributes respec mechanic because they dont offer a good character creation system.

I looked for an "interactive map" website, which looks like there used to be, but has since been neglected and forgotten, with alot of weird and empty marker.

The Market / Auction house has some weird filters that don't work.
Even the search function can't be used how it is intended..
Same with the Abilities window.. the search functions can't even search via school or weapon, its literally job is to search for things and it cant unless you already know what youre looking for.. its the worst kind of search.

The playerbase seems to hover between 20-70 people.
Judging by the world map and the linear progression of the PVE, its not a big map, and wont support alot of players.
Seems the pvp is a 5v5 kinda situation like Albion Online, or just some high level guy killing low level players in a few hits in some youtube montage with horrible music.

Some of the new players during the free weekend were asking about the reviews and the responses from the people who own the game were insanely bias to try and sell more copies of the game for some reason.
Some of the explanations for the bad reviews were explaining how there is more to the game than there looks.. then they go on to elaborate and can't.. it was so weird like they assumed the person knew what they knew and stopped telling them things after the first few tips, asif there wasnt anything else.

almost 7 hours of gameplay.
will update if i play more and things change.

I couldnt add any of this to the review because im character capped.
