Re: Ending (spoilers obviously)

I really have enjoyed this game for the most part but the one thing that did irk me a bit was the ending of the campaign. I don't like that it made the decision to keep the powers for myself for me. I would have liked to have been given the option to either return the power to Protego or give it to Solitaire, and have either a short scene or a text blurb explaining the results of that decision. But maybe that's just me

I dunno, they seemed to go to great lengths to make Solitaire and Protego both pretty awful. The ending is perhaps the only thing I like about the last 5 levels of the game story wise.

How Protego being displayed as bad ?
Solitaire on the contrary seems like an egotistis megalomaniac; the kind of idiot that clearly don't need more power...

Technically, he didn't keep the power for himself... or did he?

Remember, the final command was OPERATION: RESHUFFLE.

Maybe he gave up the power, but also reset the game, to make Solitaire and the other guy to find yet ANOTHER candidate and do it ALL OVER AGAIN... Or did he? Hmmm...
