Locked Heartscape area requirements?

This would be a good discussion thread to share findings, some areas require a specific tool to be crafted and these are usually easy enough to unlock but I have yet to figure out what triggers unlocks for other locked areas. Usually we'd get a message like "I feel like we can go here.." etc .

Currently I'm just progressing through the game and routinely visit each heartscape and from time to time, a new area would unlock.

My guess is that the area unlocks once you reach a specific talent lvl for each character? Or is it like we have to defeat a certain number of demons etc.

I was at the end game and some areas were still locked, I think some of them require Talent Level 10.

The worst thing about it all is that most of the areas are worthless. They are just additional gathering areas that can give you exclusive materials to make some of the facilities, but they never require you to hit 10 to unlock every area for them. There's only a few that will give you a new crafting recipe, but even still consumables in this game are pointless.

I am starting to see this too, apart from some locked recipes there aren't any large incentives for unlocking most locked areas. Initially, I thought unlocking these areas are the key to getting the Heartscape exploration squad achievement but it seems like this isn't the case.
