They need to add an option so you can cap your FPS
Like I have the same issue, GPU running hot as hell, but my FPS are well above the 100 mark, why can't I just cap it to like 90?
u know u can set max fps in ur gpu system panel right?
bring ur gpu to a service center so they change thermal pads as your gpu gets overheat. Lowering fps is literally not the best fix for your particular problem
Just like I know it's a common feature in games to let you cap your FPS without having to toy around with an ancient piece of software that is widely disliked
Yea, it's not uncommon for your GPU to run at 100%, however this is a game in its early production stages where the graphics don't justify the pull and the only reason it's at 100%, no matter what settings I give it, is because it's drawing as many frames as it possibly can
All I'm asking is for an ingame frame limiter so I can cap it around 90 fps without having to toy around with nvidia's notorious control panel
Reducing load stress on GPU is literally the way to solve the issue. The game is poorly optimized and it uses too much resources for what it is.
Also, in game resolution settings with marked frame rates should also limit to that refresh rate, but it's not the case. It does nothing.
Custom FPS cap could be useful, why not.
