31xx / 311xx Pendolino / Intercity from Miechow to Warsaw
41xx / 411xx Pendolino / Intercity from Katowice to Warsaw
61xx / 611xx Pendolino / Intercity from Zelislawice to Warsaw
1320xx Cargo train from Warsaw to Miechow
1460xx Empty commuter train from Warsaw to Katowice
24xxxx Empty cargo train. Accelerates and brakes like a passenger train.
62xxxx Maintenace train from Katowice to Czarna
64xxxx Maintenance train from Katowice to Myszkow
Any other 6 digit number is a regular cargo train with speed limits between 80 and 100kph except for the rare TSE train which is a 50 kph test train.
These IMO are the most important numbers to know.
Is this about right?
4 digits = pendolino: high priority (passing first before any other type)
5 digits = passengertain: high priority (normal operation)
6 digit = freight or empty trains: low priority (has to wait for other trains)
Thank you, I will try to follow that then!
