On the other hand you have similar price (or a little higher) for TSW3 - 3 different routes (85 miles in USA, 89 miles in UK and 186 km in Germany - total: 360 km). Single player only.
Both games have bugs - but the difference is, that SimRail is working on it even at weekends. DTG do nothing and release another bugged line and scenarios.
In my opinion this early access should be cheaper, because of its state. But the blame should be on PlayWay and its business models. PlayWay have almost 60% shares of SimRail team and count for similar aggressive monetization like by DTG. We can only have hope for final product with better quality and better community treatment.
"Soon" should be added German route, and in plans is American route. But they want outsource them - and main focus of original SimRail team goes for fixing stuff.
That's just my opinion. Pick whatever suits you better.
