The controls in SimRail reminds me more of Run8, there you also use + and - on the numeric pad.
But I played only the first job and for did not compare the other controls (lights...) and also I played Run8 with Raildriver.
Very similar to the controls of Train Driver 2, Zusi 3 and Maszyna.
demo camera is dodgy as F laggy too fast just isnt good
while in demo i somehow put it into emergency and then the tutorial never helped me get out so i was forced to quit game even the restart button didnt work
the very extremely deafening beep noise need to be dulled down or a warning light in place
love the train and the enviroment did not like the demo sorry but i will buy the game however game looks amazing
Well, there is tutorial available, just select correct scenario beforehand. Regarding alarm sound, that's exactly how it is in real life, you have few seconds to cancel warning (you can do it with sapce on keyboard) and then (if not cancelled), it will start making very loud noise followed by emergency braking. Warning will aways engage before semaphore and randomly during driving (dead men switch)
And finally, when emergency brakeing is activated just put throttle on neutral and then hold a button (button below guage with blue arrow on right panel next to tempomat) till the brakes release.
