That alone made me quit the demo in 15 minutes, also tutorial is really hard to follow.
I've now played the demo through, both the tutorial and the one featured scenario, and I think that this game has a lot of potential!
Of course there are certain things that I would like to complain about:
-Please add rebindable keys, I personally got used to these rather weird shortcuts quite quickly, but I would still like to have the option to change them.
-No way to see what the key bidnings are during game. Only displaying them for a couple seconds before starting the game is not enough! Add it to the "controls" section in the settings or even better, add it as a new thing you can open in the "pause" menu.
-Speaking of the "pause" menu, pressing escape should pause the game, not just pop up the menu and leave the game running in the background! For Multiplayer, maybe add a pause button the host can press? Or maybe wait for all players in the lobby to press esc? I don't know how doable this is, so maybe just not make the game pausable for Multiplayer, it's not a common feature in games anyway.
-Add the abilty to customise the HUD freely, You should be able to turn off things like distance to the next station, speed display, the thing that shows how much power you apply and the displays where the next signal/speed limit are fully independently from one another.
I, for example, would like to play with next speed limits display and the distance to the next station, but without the speed display, distance to next signal (and what aspect it displays) and the thing that shows how much I apply power/brake.
-When you fly using the arrow keys, the reverser starts moving, because the up/down arrow keys are pressed.
-The tutorial is not really designed for someone that's new to railway simulation. I have a few years of experience, so this wasn't that much of an issue for me, but please add the following things to the tutorial:
>Explain the difference between the regular brake and the pneumatic brake.
>Explain the signal aspects in more detail (I think the best way to do this is a completely new tutorial fully dedicated to signals).
>Tell the player about the white circle display that tells you when you're allowed to depart, it took me a while to find it.
>Show the player where they can check the current time, or maybe even add it to the HUD.
>Explain how to use the combined throttle/brake control in deep detail. To us, who have experience playing train sims, it may seem obvious, but you have to remember, there might be players with absolutely no train sim experience; to them the combined throttle/brake control is just confusing. Consider making a tutorial for a different train that has a simpler way of controlling and make that pop up first for new players.
>When I tried finishing the regular scenario, I would just get stuck at Będzin. It took me a second try and some time to figure out that I had overshot the blue board with a white cross. Explain in the tutorial where one is supposed to stop!
And here are things that stand out to me in a positive way:
+Working mirrors, it's little, but I love them! Train Sim World doesn't have this even on trains that would have working mirrors in real life, so you score there.
+Graphics on "very high" are really good, of course they don't reach TSW level, but I think a game is good based on its features, regardless of how good the graphics are. One example of this is Train Drive ATS, the graphics are, I'll be honest, not good, but the game is still fun, because it has great physics and a fantastic timetable system.
+Speaking of physics, the physics on the featured train are good! It needs time to get used to it, but once you do, it's a very nice train to drive. I saw some people talk about the train being awful to control or that the brakes were bad, but I believe that they just didn't get used to the controls yet.
+Actual talking dispatchers! This is amazing! You even translated the spoken dialogue, how nice! Again, this is a feature that Train Sim World lacks. This is one of my favourite features in SimRail, I'm excited to see how this will work in Muliplayer!
+It's not an advert. Train Sim World stands out very negatively to me in terms of how advertising it is. Every time I play a new route, it tells me how amazing it is and how detailed and good Train Sim World is as a whole... This is so annoying, I payed for the game and it's a bit like I bought an advert.
+Long routes, the Polish one is more than 300km!! Keep it up!
+It has a Polish route! I've played Train Simulator and Train Sim World for the past years and they always prioritise on the US, UK and Germany, yet they still have the nerve to say the routes come from "all over the world". Please do more routes that actually come from all over the world!
Things I hope to see in the future:
~Obviously, all the things I mentioned above, especially more international routes and a timetable mode.
~A voice chat for Multiplayer to simulate the radio communication more realistically, don't make it obligatory of course. Perhaps even consider adding a bit of a static noise to make it more realistic!
~Passenger Mode
~Authentic Steam Engines
~maybe even a console edition, I just prefer playing train simulators on consoles
Thanks for the demo, I will be playing it some more, because I genuinely believe it's a great game and I encourage you to take your time to work on the fine details.
Yours,
André Stoll-Brownless from Germany

Whilst playing the demo I think I found what looks like some bugs:
- When pressing "number 3", minor sounds from the train (like the compressor) stop playing, they do resume when pressing "number 2".
- Some shadows dissapear when turning (they should dissapear when the object is fully behind you, not before).
- Ballast is still way too shiny, even in the evening, ballast don't shine like that unless it has been soaked.
About the feedback:
- It's really annoying to apply the emergency brake almost all the time due to clicking way to many times the "-" key, I've read key binding will be available in the full version, still annoying though. :P
- Camera movement is way too unrealistic, also, could we NOT HAVE transitions from the passenger area into the cab? I would like to walk along the train.
- Adding a clock (with seconds) somewhere on the right side of the screen would be great, I know that there are 2, one in the EMU and the other on the left menu, but the left menu doesn't have any seconds and the other one needs to be zoomed to see, also pressing a combination of keys to hide undesired part of the HUD would be great (not just one key to hide everything)
- Talking about zooming, I personally would like to have several levels of zoom in/out in the cab, not just one whole zoom in and out, or playing with the camera FOV would be great also.
- Pause I've read that would be implemented in full version, so there's that.
- More variety of passengers, also when getting of the train, make them leave the station (they walk out of the train but not towards the exit).
- In the final version, if you people are going to do activities based on timetables, I would like to have the chance to either get my train, or stick around somewhere else, like for example doing some shunting, or grabbing another train instead of doing the service with the EMU (for example), I think simulators need to be more like a "real open world".
- Please merge "dispatcher" and "train driver", If I don't feel like driving, I would like to have the chance of being a dispatcher of a station or a CTC dispatcher controlling AI trains, I don't really want to wait for a multiplayer session because maybe, there wont be enough people to dispatch.
- When the dev tools come, possibility of playing in multiplayer with CUSTOM trains/routes, not only with the ones that come with the game.
I think that's all I can think about, if I see anything else I'll let you people know. Thanks for letting us test the demo!
Very nice demo. Many thanks to the developers and staff.
I will for sure buy the simulation.
A question about it:
What does the "1" key on the "number field" mean? If you press it while driving, the brakes are applied immediately and the train stops.
But the field with the title "Braking Hose" can no longer be reset to "zero" with the Brake Hole button. (Red illuminated button)
Air immediately builds up again on the brakes and the yellow line remains. Of course, the train won't run then either.
Polska:
Bardzo ładne demo. Wielkie podziękowania dla programistów i personelu.
Na pewno kupię symulację.
Pytanie na ten temat:
Co oznacza klawisz „1” w polu „liczba”? Jeśli naciśniesz go podczas jazdy, hamulce zostaną natychmiast uruchomione i pociąg się zatrzyma.

Cruise control worked for me once. After coming to a stop at a station and starting up again, it would refuse to work properly. It would apply power and speed up the train, but speed past the limit I set.
Otherwise the game has potential to break up the almost monopoly certain other train sim franchise has, so rooting for you guys, but this game seriously needs some work put into it.

I did have a bug, the problem is to replicate it. But after having overstepped a platform I started reversing, going forward and reversing a bit again (I was a terrible driver!) all of a sudden I got 65000+ amps, train started to accelerate in reverse although the reverser was set to forward, the 65000+ amps later got down to normal figures but still kept gaining speed in reverse. I reaced 400+ with full emergancy brake (still gaining speed with full emergancy brake). Have however not been able to recreate it (not that I've tried really hard either).
I really like the sim, feels nice and I do really look forward to the freight demo (I'm a freight person, people are annoying, rather my cargo does not talk ;-) ). Personally I also hope there will be an option to have less of a "pull this, reverse into here, walk here, uncouple here" And more "you need to do this, now go do it!". I understand that might not be done as it caters to all level of knowlege and experiences, but one can always wish :-).
I would also want to request Remote Control for the freight trains if that is possible, just an added feature i miss in train sims, so far it's only Derail Valley that has implemented such. Great when shunting and nowadays most trinas have these, even old trains from the 1960ies often are equipped with this feature, at least here in Sweden, not sure if it's as commonly used in Poland though, but I presume so.
