Any good tutorials on how to use the map editor?
See topic and yes I did a quick search on Youtube and couldn't find anything.

Cool. But how the hell Am I suppose to make a door that opens upon a certain amount of time elapsed (The Hunt Begins and In The Thick of It). There's no info when you check these maps in new rott editor.

On the touchplate and door why does the link say 0 and 0 if its linked to the touchplate at that location? If you want to change that link you go into info mode and pick the door? I have trouble with how to select or change links

No specific tutorials that I know of, but 3D Realms old site has a bunch of docs & old editors in the ROTT section which surely contain info/docs on editing.

Back in the Win 3.1 days I made a bunch of levels with ROTTEd, which I recall had a learning curve to learning to do more sophisticated things like timers. Opening existing levels & seeing how they work is probably your best bet.

There's a "clock" object in the sprites section (under Active Elements), and a tab in the info section to tell clocks when to trigger whatever they're linked to.

That clock sprite is useless. If you add another link item behind a closed timed door - editor said that this is not a touchable object ect. And if you delete that link object behind a door you can go into a loading screen and the game crashes with a message - no end time clock was found for item linked at..... Like I said I tried everything and it just doesn't work. This must be a bug in map editor.
