Dark Colours and "CRT TV Effect"
I dont know but my game has unfortunately very dark Colours and has vertical black stripes across the screen. I cant change anything in the options and could not find anyone who has the same problem.

The game plays with some visual filters, but you shouldn't be experiencing anything like that. If you have an Nvidia card, I recommend messing with your FXAA/MSAA in the startup settings and seeing if any of those help. You might also want to try adjusting the resolution. I'd be interested to know if there was a fix.

Have this exact same problem but i was playing on my ASUS ROG - I switched back to my desktop computer and its fine. So it might be an AMD graphics card thing if you have AMD as well - i just cant be bothered to look in the AMD settings to make it work - going to play on the my PC instead

Hopefully someone can find a solution, recently upgraded to an AMD system and I am disappointed this no longer works correctly.

Just found out trying to play this again on my 7900xt. Everything is dark and have no way of turning off the CRT filter.

I had the exact same problem with my 7900 xt.
The solution is to use dxvk.
Download and extract DXVK https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases/tag/v2.3
Open the folder and copy everything from the x32 folder into the main game folder from No more Heroes (right click in Steam library and choose search local files)
Hope it can help someone.

Still works, and they NEVER fixed it otherwise even with this so called 'patch', many thanks for being better than the publisher.

EDIT: NEVERMIND this fix others, it breaks the game permanently once you beat the first boss and crashes it to black screen everytime afterward. EVEN when simply LOADING to your save in the launch of the game after the fight. It will black screen once saved past the first boss.

They just do not care about fixing anything for AMD GPU owners on any game as I've noticed.
