I remember originally hearing this was going to be mobile exclusive. But I'm glad it's coming to PC. But it'll be all for naught if the PC version (unlike anything else Yacht Club Games has ever published) is Windows-only. +1 for Linux. No Tux, no Bux.

Devs forgot about Steam Deck.
+1 for Linux (only native. Not Proton)

It works perfectly out of the box through Proton on the Steam Deck (and thus on any other Linux device that can run Steam). There's no point in even asking for a native Linux build, because you won't get one, and if there was one it'd probably be buggier than running it through Proton.

Proton is a compatibly layer not a Port Game to Linux Easy Solution. Also Linux games are not always buggy especially if you use a Game Engine like Unity, Godot, or GameMaker to make the game.

Yes, I know that. I'm a professional software engineer and Linux is my primary development environment. All of that is completely irrelevant. Releasing a native port takes development time even if you're using a cross-platform engine, it would inevitably receive less testing than the Windows builds do, and it's pointless when the Windows build works perfectly in Proton.

If you use a Game Engine porting the a game to a different platform is easy all the hard work is done through the Engine and it works about 90% of the time. This point is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
