why, what aspects do you find it boring? There isn't a "best fishing game" as such, just what's best for each individual, what's best for you may not be best to many others and vice versa. Maybe watch some twitch streams and see what appeals.

Nah the game is boring , it's fun up to a point the game lacks mid to late game content i mean if you find joy using the same lure same bait and knowing if you got a diamond silver gold before you even reel it in because it becomes very static soo....

Short term casual you don't wanna progress and play the game for months or years this game is fun
Long term if you are one of them people who enjoy a good grind and will support and play a title because you legit like it and the content keeps you going this isn't for you..

Im not sure why that guy said fishing games are not for you... lmao there are a few fishing games that do it better then this game i wont name no names... but the draw back they are pretty pay 2 win or you play 24/7 to get any where...

This is not Fortnite or some other FPS with constant hordes of people or zombies rushing at you. This is a very laid back game, period. If it is not busy enough for you there is not really much of anything you can do about it. There is a waterfall in the NW side of the map that has many muskies and pike but other than that Fortnite might keep you busy.

As for me, I like laid back gaming.

Maybe Fisher Online is more what you are looking for. More focused on fishing, less on exploring.

I love real fishing, and I thought about giving this a try but it sits on my wishlist. I am not sure how fun it would be in a video game. I also read there are no trophies and such. A feature like that would be enough to get me over the fence.

Ultimate fishing simulator (the first not the second, which is made by a different studio and sucks) is remaking the entire title and giving it to people who already own it for free. How many devs do you know that will go back 10 years later and remake their game with modern graphics then give it to customers for free? They have ice fishing and fly fishing, as well as different modes (like sandbox) so you can just fish w/o dealing with in-game money or some dumb RPG leveling/skill system that doesn't belong in a fishing game.

Those devs actually listen where these care more about pushing their activist social justice narratives. Seriously, how many games with woke devs actually turn out good? None. They all go bankrupt; they all fail. Disney is losing billions. How many game studios have gone broke? How many fake journalists (IE activists) have lost their job as the industry continues to burn itself to the ground?

The only joy I have left is knowing their kids are going to starve and their spouses will leave them when they go broke. Fk these animals. They can't do anything right but fk up their games. Just bail, thats what i'm about to do and I've bought every DLC (most twice PC/PS4) for COTW as well as all of it for this title on PC. I'm done supporting this company. I hope their kids starve.
