In the past, some 'anti-cheats' have actually taken screenshots of user data and sent it to their servers(I think it was PunkBuster or maybe BattlEye - don't remember). The question is how often that happens, but in theory they could view any data on the PC, at least I assume unless it's encrypted in some way. Using EAC as an example, it doesn't even really work as an 'anti-cheat'(except the basic surface-level stuff), despite having deep access to a user's system. Heck I know Robocraft from the past used it and was infested with cheaters, and then there's Lost Ark that was/is full of botters for months if not years. Those 'anti-cheats' are a joke and seem to be there just for user data which = $$$ in today's age, even if you have nothing to hide. It's essentially theft, by consent, if you agreed with the EULAs, at the very least. If anything, your user data/habits/hardware etc are used to more easily manipulate literally everyone.

Any other ideas to stop cheats? There is none until there is a better alternative. This is the future of online and theres only the cheaters to blame.

I remember Punkbuster, Gamespy, Battleeye etc i personally have no data on my pc but my games and windows is also a privacy concern. So will you all refuse to use windows as well?

That's a dumb argument. You can block any and all Windows processes from accessing the internet - Windows is perfectly usable without internet access. However, if you're playing an online game there is no real workaround. You won't be able to play without 'anti-cheat'. The problem is not only that it's highly invasive but that it isn't optional, for games that require it.

Cheaters kill games fact. Ive seen it PUBG WOW where it made everyone leave this game has even more element to it that encourage cheating. Such as addictive numbers called personal ratings and social pressure. Theres also money and time invested and the will to win. All of this makes cheating for some irresistable and even when caught they will reroll a new account. I met one 2 nights ago using wallhack im sending the replay soon its a reroll account that came back recently and bought loot boxes as they own the loot box tanks. Yet thier game numbers are too low to be doing advanced techiques so its currently not being resolved and needs kernel anti cheat.

An alternative to kernel anti-cheat is non-invasive anti-cheat and more extreme measures applied if someone is caught cheating through other means not detected by the current anti-cheat. I despise cheaters as much as anyone. You can also avoid it by simply playing singleplayer games or online games without it.

Also, regarding new accounts with a lot of stuff, some pay2win players simply make a new account to boost their stats.

Bans are not a deterrant and do not work and never have. Online gaming had existed since early 1990 and its been proven bans only mean they reroll. Its an addiction do you think they walk away after a ban? Even an IP ban wont work they will use a VPN. You need motherboard ID bans and even then they will buy a new board. There isnt much you can do apart from sue them and try to get a civil lawsuit and maybe if they lose a community order or a online games ban from a court.


With AI as well, Anti cheat will probably be intrusive and use ai as well and it will be the only real way to stop them. And even then they might get away with it for a little bit until AI or a player picks up on it. It sucks i hate bloated and intrusive apps but its the cheaters who did this and i hope they one day are defeated totally by AI Anti Cheat and they enjoyment like ours when they cheat evoporates.

Die Zukunft von WoT 2025 xD Wargaming euch laufen auch noch die letzten Kunden weg!
Repariert den Matchmaker und die fragwürdigen Spielmechaniken, dann hat WoT auch eine Zukunft!
Unglaublich, über ein Jahrzehnt bittet euch die Community die Hauptprobleme von WoT zu beheben, euch sind über 90% der gesamten Spielerschaft abgehauen, aber ihr bei Wargaming habt den Schuss auch nach einem Jahrzehnt immer noch nicht gehört!
Zum Glück konnte ich mich im Dezember 2024 nach 12 Jahren mit 7 Accounts, auch endlich von WoT distanzieren, Wargaming macht es den Spielern ja leichter, in dem das Spiel immer unspielbarer gemacht wird.
