I'd only ever use these for tournaments or something else where winning actually truly matters, and would actually be significantly influenced by my individual performance. You'll ultimately run out of credits before experience in this game's grind, so its best to not buy anything you don't absolutely need. With most of this stuff you'll get plenty of it from missions anyway. Don't get me wrong though: things like repair kits you DO absolutely need, because they can often keep you going in battle 2-5 times longer than if you didn't have them equipped, and without them you'll ultimately lose credits. But directives are different, they give only a minor increase to various stats and are completely non-essential.

I only recommend you guys using the ones for crew. And not even until you reach tier 8 9 10. Because you won't tell the difference up until that level if you are really trying so hard that you want to 3 mark some tank or for a skirmish. Reason why i recommend crew directives is because crew directives are sold for silver. It is a good way to get sixth sense before your commander can train a sixt sense perk. But eq directives on the other hand cost bonds per use. Bonds are really important if you want to achieve a premium tank without spending money or to buy special camos in ranked battles. TL DR: Do not use them unless you know what you are doing. And you can earn some of them free from events but dont forget to count them because if you tick autobuy your daily bond gains slowly disappear.
