77 is a long way from 85. If 77 is your "max average" in your last 3-500 battles, hitting 85 will need some serious RNGessus.
- Playing too agresively and die often
- Don't spot enough or are bad at spotting
- Play too passively and don't get into fights when it's time to
Char futur gameplay is similar to that of bourrasque kind of, except just much worse. You sit behind and rat out the whole game. Many cases you can take a bush and spot for your team. Most of time you never start the game by getting into fights and trading HP, at the end of a battle you should try to trade 4 shots of your clip and give your HP in return. But big part of mark should still come from assist, like at least 500 on average, try to track when pushing into minority of tanks, etc. Because of clip you can re-track when enemies repair.
Hope this helps. Haven't marked char futur myself though, but marked some other tanks (leo1, bourrasque, ebr, etc) and this is just generic advise.
It's not an easy mark! So don't feel bad if you can't make 95%
Spot, snipe and wipe-up.
Having said that, I'm crap in that (most) tanks so don't listen to me!

I'm not using even my second ban slot. Just Overlord :)
I'd suggest focus on learning maps and positions. You need to do more damage and die less, the latter is more important, survive in many games and you can farm some free damage closer to end of it, be it a loss or win.
I also disagree with previous comment. You don't need mods to get good at the game, to me they are just unnecessary distractions. To each their own though
He's a reroll (and not a good one).
If you can't 2 marks the Char, why reroll?
