Poor matchmaking balance

Each battle looks crazy by now, like fight with only higher tier.

For one example: using tank VIII tier.
My opponents: four X tier, five IX tier and seven VIII tier included two arta's VIII tier.
Almost each of shots in to X or IX tier tanks, even with gold ammo has no penetration.
Can't win with behemoths. The same ♥♥♥♥ in lower tier.

Each random battle is trash game, against players in upper tier, against stupid RNG, poor matchmaking and against some cheaters!

Good job WG. This is reason why most of peoples left the game decreased activity.

Which mod do people use to to see he wtr or wn8 of players of the players in battle? I've just had the worst session I've had in years. 5min battles that were over in 2mins and when I looked at my teams I was surrounded by 2000 wtr players , who incidentally were shouting 'delete the game noobs'. Even I'm angry with the game tonight. I averaged 500 wn8 ??

The best game I had was in a t95. I missed two shots but blind fired tanks behind... one for 1200 because of a fire, an ammo rack kill on a Char and a third (spotted) shot which I landed for 300. 3 kills. Utter bs but in my favour! Still lost though.

The +2 toer thing doesn't bother me at all. It's down to the player you are fighting most of the time, not the tank but when half the enemy are in your base in 2mins... they could be -4 tiers and it's a loss.

Yeah .. Totally agree as do most of the community ..

The game is just total garbage now .. Gone are the good old days of skill and reward ..

I use Aslain's mods. The XVM mod is included and it shows players WIN8, the teams WIN8 and the teams chances of a win in %. You can find it at the WOT site. Lots of options with this mod. Takes awhile to find the right combo of mods that you want. I've had it for a year or more and I cannot play without it. It brings more life to the gsme.

I tried before not only Aslain's mods and stopped use. I prefer play clean. Mods caused one thing. Fair-play does not exist, because some of included mods enables greater or less advantage in the battles.

This game has been around since its inception for over a decade. Of course, I agree, it's not very comfortable, especially when pumping equipment, but everything is very relative. You can play on the ninth and tenth levels, then the matchmaker will be more favorable for you.

Yes you have right, X tier is a bit more favorable in matchmaking, but it has the same bad stuff with balance more favorable for P2W players. I have 20 tanks from X tier in garage and tried play on X tier battles, but VIII tier give to me bigger fun and a lot more nice premium tanks. I'm not super perfect, but not dumb. I have past just around 14k battles (not steam account) and X tier has toxic atmosphere and most offense via message by violet players. That's too crazy man, like playing with sick mind players.

I know that. Cheating is definition and meaning of play style. For normal peoples this game not gives fun. Gives tons of frustration and stress! Gives fun if you have thick wallet. If the members from one of top clan was caught at cheating, then this game in battles make offer nothing good by now. That is guarantees about most of the players use magic skills. Normal player with clean client can't win with them. That is naked truth about Russian game.

If the mods {Aslain's} are considered cheating then WOT encourages it. The mod is approved and on the WOT site for download. Pretty much every game I own has mods. They enhance the game and add what developers did not, could not or would not do. As far as match making goes, they need to hire a monkey and put him in charge of programming. It will net 400% improvement to game matches

I use anoymizer to counter Xvm it makes it not work

Thank you - I installed it but it didn't do anything. I'll have another go tomorrow. It's certainly 'full featured' !
