Also note that Sixth Sense has a delay so tanks pre-aimed at the spot they think you might appear can get a shot off before it triggers.
Hello! If you are playing with modifications of the game client, I advise you to make a check and run the game in “safe mode” If in this case the problem persists, I advise you to clear the cache and check the game files for integrity.
If all of the above does not help, contact support https://wargaming.net/support
Also, it should be noted that the corpses of destroyed vehicles of other players do not hide your tank from detection.
Just my opinion about one scenario where I can explain for what happened -- but out of at least two different scenarios with differing explanations for what happened; I will not get into any other scenario, with a different explanation for what happened:
Any vehicle of your team or the enemy team's, will not hide you from the view range of any other vehicle. All vehicles in the battle -- in a regular full battle, there are 15x2=30 vehicles -- are non-existent as far as view-range-and-concealment-mechanics are concerned: the view range of any vehicle passes right through any other other vehicle. So when you were hiding behind that tank corpse -- a player who died in battle already -- you were spotted all during that time you were hiding behind that tank corpse. So when you moved away from the tank corpse, they shot you, because you never ever left their view (because that tank corpse of a player in the battle that had already died, did not block an enemy's view range from you all that time you were behind it).
