Its faster. Rockets and auto cannons take out lights earlier and theres always two arty to take away a heavy tank from the matchmaker.

Dang, anyone want to tell him how it used to be?

I remember sitting in a bush, near a base, in a tier I hoping to reset the cap just once while a tier X tried to cap us out. Getting demolished by a gun bigger than your whole tank was amusing, especially when it meant you made them mad because your team won.

The game isn't bad. It changes. I happen to have liked it better before 1.0, but taste differs.

hate to be the bearer of obvious news, but when ppl take 'breaks' they won't be coming back. last year's holiday ops had peaks of 16k players on the asia server, now it barely breaks 13k. Will it be 10k next year, or 9k? will matchmaking start to be affected (there's a hardcoded time limit on, not just referring to match quality)? It seems like WoT is in or headed to a death spiral, and none you you want to stop it.
