But free to play players can easy play uptoo tier 5/6 without a premium account and still make money. At higher tiers tho, to continue too make vast profits, you require skilful play every match, if not then you need to play lower tiers to make the credit difference up.
But with Battlepass, even the free to play players get a nice choice of premium tanks at the end of the event and lots of goodies in between but too reach the end, you need to invest alot of time and effort. I been at this battlepass now for two months and only just reached chapter III, will another 50 stages to complete before the 15th June.
Yeah, it's a bit much. Everything is a little too expensive. It's all more than I want to spend.
Battle pass is a reasonable value IF you get it when it starts.
You should only buy equipment for tanks you know you'll be playing for a long time.
The key to consumables is using them only as needed. You can keep a repair kit on a tank indefinitely. As long as you never use it. You only pay for it when you add it, or replace it.
Get caught in the open with three people firing at you? Save your repair. Get tracked while peeking? Use it, and be happy you had it!
Allowing yourself to be blown up to save 5000 credits isn't a good strategy for moving up tank tiers.
This is true.
Many people (such as myself) complained about this over the years. WG changed it, for a time.
Gave a big nerf to camo ratings and vision distance. Didn't last.
People didn't want to play lights because they'd always been seen and killed quickly. Stat-padding TD players couldn't sit in one place all game.
This led to many complaints from such players. Some even quit. So WG eventually caved and restored most of what was lost.
This is one of those game design/balance decisions in which there can be no winner. Someone will have a bad experience.
The ultimate balance to all this is the sixth sense skill. It's helpful for newer players. Especially those that want to play light tanks at tier V+.
I feel the same way. Matches can get really boring. Especially when most of your team decides to camp, and the other team does, too.
WoT does not match you by skill. It's mostly about tier and type.
If using a small repair kit during a battle causes your overall credits to be negative? You're doing something wrong.
I got bad news for ya. It's going to take thousands of battles to get your crew trained up. (Especially if you don't use gold or have a premium tank.) Tier VII+ is extremely difficult without a skilled crew.
It doesn't matter how quickly you go up in tiers. Focusing on that will only cause you to fail upwards. Which will result in players hating on you at higher tiers.
One of the best things you can do for yourself at tier V is to stay for awhile. Don't advance as soon as you've earned the xp to do so. Instead, get it to elite status, and keep playing it. Especially if you're good with the tank.
Not quite sure what you are suggesting. I don't want to pay $20/month for the game, though.
They should definitely make premium time part of the battle pass. However, I don't think players should get the battle pass for having premium. Just an opinion.
Yes, the MM will cause you to lose or win games. However, it's not so much fixing as it is the nature of any such system.
Roughly 30% of your matches will always be losses. Even if you are one of the top players. It is inescapable.
At the same time, roughly 30% of your matches will always be wins. Even if you afk every all the time. It's just going to happen.
This is evidenced by the fact that few players win more than 70%, and few lose more than 70%.
Is this because the game is rigged? No. It's because you have two teams, and only one can win. In any fair system you will always win some, and always lose some.
All that said, MM is one of the reasons WoT is so frustrating. You can have an extremely high individual performance, and still lose anyway.
The key is to focus on enjoying doing well. Regardless of wins or losses. It's a hard lesson to learn. One no one was able to teach me years ago. I had to discover it on my own.
It's also important to note that there will be bad days. Times when you just can't seem to win at all. That's going to happen. You need to know when to take a break. That's why the options for premium time that are less than a month are actually a good thing.
I've been playing too much recently. Started raging out about it. Had to reduce the time I was playing. Get back to enjoying my time. Instead of it feeling like a chore.
I don't know if any of this will help. I hope it does.
I never met many players with a 41% winrate, soo rare... even bots have a higher winrate but say that....
No so long ago I met a player with a 39% winrate (39% I tell you) and this player was a long time wot players to boot with thousands of battles under his/her belt. But watching them play, I could of swore it looked like a bot playing (not sure tho).
There is no SBMM, it is just based on tank type. The game will match TDs against TDs of same number, HTS/MTs as well. LTs it tries, but clown cars throw this off. Not many tracked scouts will out scout a clown car.
The store is not meant so you can buy every tank. Watch videos and reviews if you are interested in buying a premium tank. I highly recommend buying one tier 8 premium, though learning at least the basics first is recommended, as a tier 8 premium can make anywhere from 80,000-300,000 credits PROFIT per battle. That solves all your issues with consumnables. As to which tank, there are many to choose from some considered OP (many are not, just people dont know how to work around those with the skills to properly leverage the tank) and just as many that are worse than their tech tree counterparts.
There is no "Fixed MM" Thats the kind of tinfoil hat garbage that 40%ers say to validate their stats. Learn to leverage each tanks strength instead of taking things like ridgeline tanks into city and you will do much better.
The battlepass is not needed by anyone. It gives a couple of commanders, and a few other goodies. The only things worthwhile from said pass are the bounty equipment (purple equipment that gets better after spending 3m credits to upgrade it) and the BP coins. You still get the BP coins from the non premium BP (just less) and they stay around until december (there will be more BPs). If you want the bounty equipment (you do) you will need to pay up however.
I'm not trying to bash people for win rates an I don't want to provide screen shot of his stats not that type of person. The argue here is if people going to call people noobs atleast have a 50% plus win rate.
I don't condone this behaviour either but you cant go seal clubbing lose to another good team an start bashing the lowbies. Dont worry try HK server an you see ppl with alot of games 40k plus with terrible win rates. I'm only 500 games in an still learning armour layouts, maps, meta, positioning, etc there is alot to take in an takes awhile to learn I dont yolo an have my W key stuck, but now an again being a rookie you going to make error still learning the good positions to be in. Someone with 20k plus games they basically know every rock in the map to hide behind, its just annoying especially when you get garage messages an you check there stats an its terrible.
You can make a million credits a day clear profit if not more using a premium account. If you use premium ammo all time, ever game, then that's a different story.
But at tier 9/10 you need to be performing very well to earn profits even with premium account.
have you seen the MM patent? and have you played the SA server? you should cause there is such a thing called FIXED mm.. just look at the tanks it pairs you up with.. lol
WGing has zero incentive to make you lose. Your tinfoil hat is just a bit tight.
sa server is FIXED mm from tiers 1 to 5.. They have this for users.. and whales.. if you got a premium account you get better mm.. thats 1 example.. and yes, yes they do..
