New Czech Light Tanks Underwhelming
So I took a multi year long break from WoT, and I decided to return with this update on a new account on Steam this time. I decided to start by grinding for the new Czech light tank because it seemed cool, but after getting the Blesk, I realize that the tanks have some flaws with no particular benefits.

Firstly, you have to stay exposed while you dump your mag, whereas every other tank can fire a shot off then fall back to cover.

Secondly, the penetration is abysmal. I do like how the "premium" rounds trade off damage for penetration, and don't cost substantially more credits (I think all premium rounds should be that way), but all in all if you want to do decent damage, you have to get really close to your enemy.

Thirdly, the armor and camo rating are subpar. For a light tank, having trash armor is understandable, but combined with the subpar camo rating compared to other light tanks, it means that its overall survivability is multaplicatively worse.

I think that these tanks should get some sort of unique benefit to counter these negatives. I saw a post on a youtube video that suggested a higher camo rating while firing, which would be cool. Another possibility is that it does more critical damage, so you can take out people's tracks reliably with it. What do you guys think?

Good day, I disagree with you on some issues. In terms of camouflage, this tank is inferior only to a few vehicles that are recognized as the standard of camouflage, these are the LHMTV and Elc even 90.
In terms of unloading the cassette, it is aimed at flanking maneuvers or rolling out with further twisting of cardboard tanks or tanks with weak side/rear armor. I agree in terms of weak shooting at a distance and I do not agree in terms of increasing damage to internal modules (because this will require changing the entire mechanics where internal modules have HP and armor) and increasing camouflage when shooting I also do not agree, all light tanks have an advantage in camouflage while standing and on the move, to avoid being spotted after a shot, I can advise you the following tactics: find an enemy vehicle that is at an acceptable distance, fire a burst at it (not the entire magazine) and hide behind cover, and use the double bush tactic (you roll back from the bush until it becomes visible again, then the camouflage will be higher)

You make some good points, but I will note that aside from the Sheridan, the Tesak has the worst camo rating of all the T10 lights. And yes, the tanks are more effective when you manage to get the side of someone, but that isn't very common, whereas a normal gun could feasibly deal damage from any angle and at most distances if you aim for weak points.

The only advantage that the Czech lights have over most tanks is pretty high burst damage, but at that point you'd might as well go for the Sheridan, as it can deal all of its damage instantaneously as opposed to over a few seconds.

So my main point is that there's no benefit to using the Czech lights over another tank, other than the fact that shooting a machinegun is kind of fun.

Another potential remedy is to make autocannon rounds go faster or potentially have a slower damage/penetration falloff with range. Given that their accuracy is pretty bad after firing less than a second, this could help to offset that.

but you in turn forget that Czech light tanks counteract all other light tanks, only the T-100LT can survive a meeting with it, the Manticore due to its camouflage, other tanks will be inferior to it in battle, + do not forget about its mechanics, it represents the same danger for lightly armored tanks as the Sheredan with a high-explosive gun, but unlike it, it does not become narrowly focused.

I got spammed with emails about account deletion if I do not login 1 year of inactivity I caved in redownloaded and played 2 matches to know having a account with $2000 of tanks is nothing if the game is pointless garbage

so much wasted potential and a bot community

Before I get accused of not knowing how to drive, my favourite and most played tank is the VK 16 Leopard. I know how to drive big lights with burst potential.
Talking about the camo rating in pure numbers is useless as a comparison since the Czech lights are HUGE, the Selma is as wide as an ST-I and only the T49 is a smidge taller. Most bushes won't hide them, they are way too slow and sluggish to go into close combat and they can only really excel in very niche situations.
They are by far the worst lights atm.

The Czech light tanks excel at selecting a lonely target and hit them hard. Much like the Rhm and WZ, they playstyle is a little different, and definitely not for everybody
Yes, as I said, very niche, they hit it with somewhat mediocre damage unless it's a real paper tank, which most tanks aren't.
