"tWo PlUs TwO eQuAls FoUr, OnE iS mOrE tHaN zErO, SuN iS tHe StAr".
You see? That kindergarden stuff doesn't work in reality. But there is also the fact: players WOULDN'T complain if there would be no tier difference to begin with.
premium shells = your side armor is now your rear armor and your frontal armor is now your side armor
Learning the generic weak spots is good. Study tanks.gg for more tank specific detailed weak spots.
Controlling engagements is a skill in the game. MM will match you against an equal amount of same tier tanks. (e.g. 3/5/7). There is no requirement to follow a corridor or choke point and have +2 tier tanks shoot you in the face. Do not trade with higher tier tanks. Let others bait or soak the damage and shoot the enemies on reloads. Learn to create and exploit local over matches. e.g 2 v 1 means the enemy cant shoot both of you.
On side-scraping; getting the angles correct is very important however knowledge of over-match is equally critical so you are not side-scraping against something that will pen anyway.
the easy way is gold shells though, lol.
Wow...you HAVE played the game, lol..."working as intended".
Buy other tank with highest penetration. And in a tier+2 match you have 30-50% other enemies with your rank. You dont must fight the best tank.
