Players commiting suicide
Gladly it doesn't happen often in matches but at the beginning of the round, some players will just look at the stats with xvm and then decide battle is lost. They then quitely drive into the nearest body of water and drown or jump of a cliff and blow up.

Happen in one of my battle yesterday, during count down one top tier tank typed in chat, 'we lost' and that's all he said. In less than a minute, he was dead at the bottom of the lake in Lakeville.

It's not the first time that players shout out at start 'we lost', 'this team sucks' or some other crap and kill themselves.

Long story short, we tried harder and we won that battle anyways. Moral of story, no matter what stats look like, they is no excuse not to try your best in any given battle.

If players do this too often, they get punished. To be fair, players should stop using xvm, when I stopped using it my stats just went up, since I stopped caring who is playing for me and against me :)

There should be temp bans for suiciding more than 3 times a day

I agree, but accidental suicide is sometimes hard to avoid in this game. The physics is not very realistic like War Thunder where you can slide down a cliff and still survive. Alot of tanks are too fast and often end up driving off a ledge and blow up. And suicidal attacks is very common where players will charge at the enemy and killing themselves in the process. Some maps also have glitches where for example a pool of water that look shallow enough actually goes all the way down to the very bottom of the map. Maybe they could implement a system that detects if a player suicide the first few minutes of the battle and count it as desertion. But I would rather see them make lakes inaccessible and pools of water shallow enough to drive through. And suicide from fall damage should only affect your modules and not drain your hitpoints. Suicide from hitting enemy tanks can stay. Another simple solution is make suicide more punishing with heavy penalties to rewards to deter suicide.
Suicide by ramming the enemy is different because it at least works as a distraction or deals anywhere from some to a lot of damage. What I meant is more than 3 intentional suicides a day. Intentional suicides being drowning and jumping off a cliff. Doing those 2 things more than 3 times a day on accident is really difficult.

And making it only count suicide as intentional if its at the first few minutes wont work either. How often do you see arty players drowning themselves as soon as the winning team gets close?

How would you even know? More importantly, how does the game know the difference?

Just yesterday a tank caught me in a bad position. He was heavier. With a more powerful engine. He pushed me into the water. I drowned. Very little I could do about it.

Whenever you implement a system of punishments in a game, you must first examine how players will react. Specifically, you have to think of the most evil and trollish players. Consider what they would do.

What would they do? Start pushing everyone they can into water, or off cliffs. As often as possible. Just because they know it'll get people banned. Not just enemies, either. They'll do it to teammates.

Your idea would cause far more problems than it would solve.

Suiciding players isn't an epidemic. It's reasonable rare. Those that do it? Usually have a reason.

I'm not going to fight 10 enemies if my entire team is wiped out and I have 10 hp. It would be pointless. I'm going directly for the next cliff or water source.

There's no reason I should just be a target. There's no reason I should wait several minutes for them to surround and kill me. Or worse, run around the map in a desperate attempt to cause a draw. The game is over. If I have to end it? So, be it.

Hey there Ganger (from the forums :D )

I would kindly ask you to report the player via our in-game report system and though our ticket system on Customer Support portal with the timestamps, nicknames and the replay/clip if you still have it. They will gladly look into it and take action against that player if needed :)

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Sadly I don't record many battles and didn't record this one. I will report in future tho. thanks
I know the feeling, it is pretty demoralizing when they thinks it have been decided since the beginning of the match. XVM is just a tool that some unicums uses, def not for casuals, to gauge the strength of tank group hes about to go to get upper hand. Im not going to lie but 7-9k WN8 does have huge impact on gameplay. I mean when I was platooning with other two peepz who were well within 8k+ wn8. We averaged 80ish WR out of 20 games in a single night because we knew what we were doing. Ive seen numerous of unicums platooning because well, it gives em best chance of winning and strongarming the team into their favor. XVM isnt for casual uses. Ive won matches against platoon of unicums. They are not that special but boy, they does put up fight

I absolutely despise XVM in this game, I class it as a Cheat despite whatever excuse players give for using it as i have heard them all and each one is doable without such a mod and so have little to no respect from me, just no skill.

As for players killing themselves or shouting out lost before the game has even started, i do wish they were banned from the game because most the time that are 45% Players with thousands of Battles and no improvement whatsoever, so whats point of playing!?

Id go so far as to say most unicums dont use it.

As stated in this post, anecdotal, but I also used to use xvm, and after I stopped using it I saw my stats raise.

XVM is the source of alot of this kind of issues. People see xvm claiming 8% win chance, which is extremely inaccurate. Always has been. Used to be kind of fun to try to win a low chance game. Heres the thing. XVM has gotten even more unreliable due to the anonymizer and it taking anyone using an anonymizer (which could be anyone from a unicum to a tomato who is tired of getting "arty focused") and basically giving them a stat score of zero is not going to make accurate statistics.

how about you stop taking opinions away and idk revert the game back to 2012 and remove all the p2w features away.. no one like you all as you can clearly see as you all police the fourms to no end..

remember the downvote button? you removed it..

which is why they have a player retention issue just one of the many reasons anyway.

2 days ago i got 1 shot volleies at tier 8 from tanks that did 700-800 damage in one shot in 1/5 of my games. didnt even do anything wrong per say every one was playing isu 152 and the like and spaming gold ammo. the only real mistake i made was thinking i would get to play.

"he threw his tank away reeee" no i just got blown away in places it never happens by premades but okay.

between the power creep and arty revival its a bad time to play wots agian.

its amzing how subjective this is and how people are actually willing to issue temp bans then cry about how bad mm is getting.
